Diggle CSR Championships 2023

The Pennine Shooting Sports Association (PSSA) are based in Diggle (near Oldham) with some great range facilities including 2x 100yd ranges, 1x 300Yd range and a 1000yd range. PSSA have the countries best Civilian Service Rifle (CSR) team and hold monthly CSR shoots as well as their annual Open CSR Championships, this year held from 15-17 October. Weather Wind all week 8-12mph Fog, overcast and occassionaly some sunshine :) No rain though, a blessing. Trevor Eeles and Simon Devlin entered the championship this year in the Service Optic class, the following results are published Congratulations to both! Trevor Championship Winner (Service Optic Class) Gold: 300yd Match Gold: Excelleince in Competion Match Gold: 100yd Match Silver: Short Range Match Bronze: Long Range Match Simon (only attended first two matches) Gold: Short Range Match Match distances varied from 100 - 600yds designed to test accuracy, stamina and positional techniques using a civilian adapted service rifle. Other matches include a very short range Urban Contact Match (UCM) which is 100yd down to 25yds. We need more CSR shooters, if you are interested, speak to one of the committee.
