Club Bisley Shoot at 600 & 1000yds
The Club arranged a Range Day shoot at Bisley on Thursday 22nd September. The day consisted of two shoots, the AM shoot was on the Century Range at 600yds using the Intarso electronic targetry. The PM shoot was on the Stickledown 1000yd range and the Club opted to pay for NRA target markers in the butts who operate and mark each target after each shot.
The day went well, with shooting starting at 10:30 am, all shooters getting on target quickly and using the 600 am shoot to ready themselves for the 1000yd range later. Weather was excellent and dry with light 4 - 6 mph winds, still a challenge but manageable.
Shooters used a range of calibres including .6.5 Creedmoor, .308 Win and 7.5x55 Swiss with plenty of success!
