Recipe: Rabbit & Potato Pie

Another in Arons cooking series, looks great!


85g butter
1 medium onion, finely chopped
350g shortcrust pastry
plain flour, for dusting
750g potatoes, boiled in their sins until cooked through, then sliced (don’t worry if the potatoes break up slightly)
salt and pepper
200g rabbit meat from the legs or saddle, cut into 5mm pieces
1 medium egg, beaten
